CASTELLI DESIGN COMPETITION

Chairs as a piece of furniture are an important part of interior spatial composition, therefore designing a concept for a chair can be useful to develop their idea for spatial composition. We devised a concept for a chair that in itself has an interesting design, but can also be a module that can create different spatial set-ups when repeated. The structure of the chair is made of wooden panels made from discarded, industrialised wood that has been recycled. In this structure cushions made from recycled fibre can be inserted to create an interesting contrast between the beige wood and the blue textile.
