The project was a hub to locate in outdoor areas of hotels and provide a “glamping” experience. The position, and the function of the hub were the main inspiration for the choice of an organic shape, as this adapted well to the natural context and created a very comforting atmosphere. The egg shape is constructed with arched wooden beams that rescall the skeletal structure of an animal. The covering was made with a white translucent textile, that permitted natural and diffused lighting to enter during the day, and made the indoor led lighting transpire towards the exterior by night, so the hub resembled a lantern. The space was very contained but still managed to host all the necessary functions for a hotel room, including a bathroom and suitcase storage space.
